About THCa
THCa is a naturally occurring cannabinoid that is responsible for the THC we know and love. THCa is the stage before Delta 9 THC within cannabis plants. THCa, when exposed to heat, air, and/or light, begins to decarboxylate and transform into Delta 9 THC. THCa in itself doesn’t have a psychoactive effect, but once exposed to heat, can have an intoxicating effect on par with Delta 9 THC. All THCa products contain less than 0.3% Delta 9 THC in compliance with the 2018 Farm Bill.Â
